When is the conference?

The VEX Robotics Educators Conference will be held from Monday, April 29th to Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 at VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas, Texas.

Where do I register for the conference?

In order to register for the conference, you will need to have an all-access PD+ subscription. You can then register for the conference within PD+ at this link. Registration will open January 15, 2023.

What is the difference between PD+ All-Access Registration VS Standard Registration?

PD+ all-access members have registration included in their subscription. If you are not an all-access member, you will need to open a free VEX PD+ account and the cost for the conference is $399USD.

Will I get professional development credits for attending the conference?

Post-Conference, every attendee will have a certificate in the “Certifications” section of their PD+ Dashboard indicating the number of professional development hours completed. Because every school and/or district is different, be sure to talk to your administration to determine if they will accept the conference as continuing education hours.

What hotel is available for the upcoming event?

An exclusive hotel block is available at the Omni Hotel, conveniently connected to the Convention Center. The reserved rooms are available from April 28th to May 1st, 2024.

How can I book a room within the reserved block at the Omni Hotel?

To book a room within the block, you can visit the Omni Hotel Reservation Link at your earliest convenience. However, availability is limited, and rooms will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Are there any alternative accommodations provided for the event?

Yes, if you wish to explore alternative hotels and dates, you can visit Team Travel Source for VEX Robotics. They may provide additional options for accommodation.

Where can I find information about grants or funding opportunities?

Can I present at the VEX Robotics Educators Conference?

Yes! We will be taking submissions for presenters at the end of the year for the 2025 Educators Conference. Keep a lookout in your PD+ Dashboard for more information.

Will I be able to view any sessions I missed after the conference?

Yes, you can! All presentations from the conference will be recorded and made available in the PD+ Video Library after the conference concludes. This allows you to catch up on any sessions you may have missed or revisit your favorite moments from the event. Please note, however, that workshops will not be recorded and thus won't be available in the PD+ Video Library post-conference.

Who should attend the VEX Robotics Educators Conference?

While this event is specifically tailored for educators and professionals, we extend an invitation to students to immerse themselves in the excitement and inspiration of VEX Worlds.
