Where do I Get Started? Let the Teach Pages be Your Guide
One of the highlights of summer is helping provide training to teachers who are just getting started with 123 and GO. The teachers are always excited to explore all of the curriculum and support materials we share during the training. Naturally, teachers want to know how to easily find the exact resources they are most interested in using among the wide variety we offer. Fortunately, we have a convenient and helpful one-stop resource that allows teachers to do just that - the Teach Pages!
What are the Teach Pages?
The VEX Teach Pages are a central hub for resources for teaching with each VEX platform. Each page includes explanations of the curricular supports for your classroom, scope and sequences for teaching with the platform, research behind the pedagogy for each platform, and much more. These pages are designed to acquaint you with the most useful resources, and help you find whatever you need instantly, from links to the STEM Labs to standards alignment documents.
The Teach pages are also easy to find - each url is exactly the same, except for the name of the platform itself, such as teach123.vex.com, or teachgo.vex.com. It’s simple to bookmark the page you need and return to it again and again, as a starting point for accessing the VEX resources you need quickly and easily. You can find links to all of these pages below.

What is included in the Teach Pages?
Each of the Teach Pages includes links to information and fundamental resources to help you on your journey to teaching with VEX.
Video walkthroughs
Teach Pages begin with a video presentation from a VEX Expert who is here to guide you through the page. This is a great resource if you are just coming to the page for the first time and want a guide through all of the information.
Links to Curriculum
What if you remember that each VEX platform has different kinds of curricular offerings, but can’t remember exactly where to find them, or what the differences among them are? The Teach page has links to each type and a quick description to remind you of what you are looking for.
Scope and Sequences
Each Teach Page provides introductory scope and sequences tailored to different focuses in the classroom. These drastically simplify the planning process for you and allow you to get started teaching with each platform without having to pull together resources on your own. In the example shown here, the VEX IQ Teach Page has scope and sequences available for engineering, coding, and competition focuses as well as a scope and sequence related to teaching multiple classes with one Classroom Bundle.
Links to Build Instructions
Maybe you are ready to start class but realize you need a quick link to a set of Build Instructions! You’ll find a link on each of the Teach Pages that will take you directly to the instructions for your chosen platform.
Standards Alignment
Direct links to our standards alignment documents are provided for you, so you can easily add them to lesson plans or share with others.
Platform-Specific Information
Each Teach page provides information and links to resources that apply only to that platform. For example, the EXP Teach Page informs readers about the ability to teach coding with Blocks or Python, while the 123 Teach Page highlights the ease of differentiation when teaching Computer Science with VEX 123. All the most useful and relevant resources for each platform are pulled together in one easy spot, so you don’t have to spend time looking for them.
Additionally, at the bottom of each Teach Page, you will find a table of all the common links for the platform, providing an additional option for quickly reaching the resource you need.
For more information about the Teach Pages, don’t hesitate to ask in the PD+ Community, or schedule a 1-on-1 Session with a VEX Expert.
