Literacy Lessons with VEX
In this Live Session, Audra shares some ways to teach literacy concepts through integrated STEM projects. She demonstrates a Robot Puppet Show project that uses 123 Robots as characters acting out a scene from a story. Then she shows one way to use VEX GO to help students with expository and persuasive writing with a ‘Widget for Sale’ project. Audra then goes on to explain a Poetry in Motion project where students would create an IQ build to represent an interpretation of a poem. These ideas are wrapped up with some tips and tricks for planning integrated STEM projects in your setting.
